Volunteer Prayer

Loving God, we gather today as the body of Christ in the world.
We gather to thank you for the gift of volunteers in our lives and our ministries.
We ask you to bless our time together,
to open our hearts to whatever message you want us to hear,
and to wrap us in your Spirit as we strive to be faithful stewards
of the ministry with which you have entrusted us.
We ask this with faith and hope in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ.
Amen.
