Ascension of Our Lord School

Ascension of Our Lord is committed to building a strong spiritual, academic, and moral foundation that empowers our students to strive for success and model their faith in order to serve God and others. 

The curriculum at Ascension of Our Lord School meets the needs and talents of students beginning with our Little Crusader two year old program through 7th grade. Our school strives for high academic achievement while recognizing the uniqueness of every child.  Included in the curriculum are Religion, Math, Reading, English, Social Studies, Science, Spelling, Art, Computer, Library, Spanish and PE. Students are also able to participate in many extra-curricular activities that includes year-round sports and clubs.

Ascension of Our Lord School is staffed by certified personnel. It is certified by the State of Louisiana and by the Cognia Global commission. AOL maintains membership in the National Catholic Education Association (NCEA), Louisiana Federation of Citizens for Educational Freedom (CEF), and Association for Curriculum Development (ASCD)

• Little Crusaders

The Little Crusaders is a year round program that includes various activities to help students with their social, physical, and academic growth. Free play learning centers, music and movement, arts and crafts, story time, outside play, hands on activities, and verbal interaction are targeted to engage your child in a warm and nurturing learning environment. 

• PTO

The Parent Teacher Organization facilitates coordination and communication between parents and teachers to develop students intellectually, spiritually, culturally, socially and physically. 

St. Charles Catholic High School

St. Charles Catholic High School is a Roman Catholic, archdiocesan, co-educational high school serving grades 8-12 and is the only Catholic high school in the River Parishes. SCC strives to meet the intellectual, spiritual, emotional, physical, and social needs of our young students through a balanced curriculum. SCC prides itself on its religious, social, and athletic extracurricular activities.
